Soft rhythms and warm smiles welcome you when you walk up to BarBel, located on Antwerp's cosiest square, the Vrijdagmarkt. Offering a beautifully curated menu of small farmed European wines, chilled beers, homemade lemonade and Spanish inspired tapas, this is a place where everyone, for some reason, always seems to be in a good mood.
The brain child of founder Annabel Neyens, BarBel was created as an ode to her mom and is filled with small, loving touches that make you feel good no matter where you come from or the day you've had. We like to refer to it as #HBB. Home, But Better.
