Thank you all for coming at this edition again, we hope you all had a great time, with or without any memories of last weekend! We want to thank all the volunteers who did a good job, all the bands that played and every single one of you who came by to support the bands and Toxic Waste Fest! Sorry for the overpriced beers and the lack of parking space, this new venue has its pro’s and contra’s, but in general we are happy how this edition turned out!
But, unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end. After some discussion we decided that this edition will be probably be the last one, the festival is on hold for now, which means there will be no edition organised in 2018. It takes a lot of planning and time and we decided we want to take a break from this. I think in these 4 years we learnt a lot , we booked 36 bands over the years in 6 different countries, made friends, and consumed insanely amounts of alcohol ;)
It was one heck of a ride, big thanks to those who were there 4 times in a row, thats how it should be!
Support your local bands, buy their merch!
Keep an eye for other crazy festivals in Belgium; Oilsjt Omploft, Heavy Sound, No Compromise, Throne Fest, Blast From The Past, and so on…. support these as we know how difficult it is to stay alive as a festival!
