We’re thrilled to announce that we’re participating in the Tilquin Fruit Extravaganza 2026! We’re proud to be part of this exciting event and to share our passion for unique and innovative brews.
Currently, we have three grape editions on tap: Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Viognier. Each one is a true adventure and there’s still so much to discover. So make sure to explore all of them!

We’re back. 🍻❤️

After a week of giving Billie’s the biggest summer refresh we’ve ever had, the doors are finally open again.

The kitchen will be back tomorrow, as our chefs are busy today getting everything prepped and ready. But the taps? Oh, they’re more than ready.

Our friends from Verdant Brewing Co. left us with an incredible lineup, so although yesterday’s Tap Takeover couldn’t happen as planned, you can still enjoy the b**rs they brought all the way from Cornwall.

The brewers told us they can’t wait to hear what you think of them, and honestly... neither can we.

In Loving Memory of Alan

In 2022, we had the great honor of welcoming Alan and Eliana from Hair of the Dog Brewing Company to our festival. It was a truly special moment for us, as their brewery had already achieved legendary status among b**r enthusiasts around the world.

During that edition, we proudly presented them with a special award in recognition of their extraordinary contribution to the craft b**r community.

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Alan, who lost his battle with cancer. His passion, bold spirit, and unmistakable voice left a lasting mark on the world of craft b**r. You barked loud, challenged conventions, and helped shape the b**r scene into what it is today.

Our thoughts are with Eliana, his family, and everyone who loved him. We wish them strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.

Alan, it was an honor to have met you. Behind the legendary reputation you were one of the kindest, warmest, and most humble souls we have ever had the privilege to know. We will always be grateful for everything you gave to the b**r community and for the inspiration you shared with so many.

If you happen to run into Billie up there, please give him a big hug from all of us.

Rest easy, Alan. Your legacy will live on in every great b**r and in the hearts of those who knew you.

Following an inspection by the FAVV, a rodent issue was identified in our basement.
We have decided to take no chances and temporarily close our doors. The safety and hygiene of our guests and our team will always be our highest priority.
Together with specialised pest control experts, we are addressing the issue immediately and thoroughly. We are also taking advantage of this temporary closure to carry out a comprehensive summer deep clean. Our historic building has plenty of charm, but unfortunately it also comes with the occasional unexpected challenge.
We hope to welcome you back from Thursday onwards.

On Thursday, July 2nd, we’re bringing together three incredible breweries for a special Triple Tap Takeover & Meet the Brewer at Billie’s.

From Switzerland’s hop-loving innovators Hoppy People, to Denmark’s legendary craft b**r rebels WarPigs, and Antwerp’s own Uncharted – the local hop wizards constantly pushing the boundaries of modern brewing – expect a tap list packed with fresh, exciting b**rs and plenty of surprises.

To celebrate the occasion, Uncharted will also be unveiling their brand-new Mountain IPA (6.2% ABV), pouring for the very first time.

Last night’s Tap Takeover & Meet the Brewer with Sparkle was one for the books.
Perfect b**rs for the summer heat, passionate brewers, and a room full of people who appreciate great craft b**r. What more could you ask for?

Join us on Friday, April 24 for the official release of Oude Geuze Oud B**rsel – Reborn, a special anniversary blend celebrating 20 years since the reopening of Oud B**rsel.

For this unique b**r, two exclusive blends were created:

1. Reborn – Brewers Edition
Blended the day before BCBF 2025, this edition is the result of an exceptional international collaboration. Brewers from Norway, Mexico, Romania, New Zealand, Poland, Australia, Austria, and Chile gathered at Oud B**rsel to taste lambics straight from the wooden barrels, carefully select them, and craft one shared blend together.

2. Reborn – Draft Version
For this version, Oud B**rsel invited a selection of key horeca partners to collaborate on the blend. Our manager Jeroen proudly represented Billie’s and contributed to the creation of this unique draft edition.

👉 Availability:
The Brewers Edition will be available by the glass on Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday, the new Oude Geuze aged in Cognac barrels is also available by the glass, as well as versions aged in rum and Calvados barrels.

And of course, Gert from Oud B**rsel will be joining us, happy to share more about the story behind these special blends.
