Beste mensen,
We hebben helaas slecht nieuws!
Vanwege het groeiend aantal Covid-19 besmettingen zien we ons genoodzaakt om onze optredens uit te stellen. De kans op besmetting door dit nieuwe, agressieve Corona virus wordt met de dag groter.
We hebben in onze naaste familie enkele mensen van hoge leeftijd en/of verminderde weerstand. We kunnen het risico niet nemen om hen - via ons - in gevaar te brengen. Maar ook voor de artiesten, het publiek en onszelf kunnen we de veiligheid niet garanderen.
Gevaar op besmetting in situaties waar mensen dicht bij elkaar staan - zoals concerten - is heel groot.
We gaan het van week tot week bekijken. Om te beginnen met de optredens van komend weekend. Indien de situatie niet verbetert dan gaan we ook de daaropvolgende optredens moeten uitstellen of afgelasten. Dus we kunnen voorlopig ook nog geen nieuwe data in het vooruitzicht stellen.
Het is voor ons een moeilijke beslissing, maar wel een uit noodzaak.
Desondanks onze excuses voor het ongemak!

friday we have Blind Illusion + Fusion Bomb at Negasonic
If you are not familiar with (Bay Area) Thrash Metal secret supergroup Blind Illusion, this is what Alex Skolnick (Testament) says about Mark Biedermann and Blind Illusion:

Holy Batman! Guitarists goofing for the camera: Yours truly (still in high school), the one & only (later of , then - & now - of & Mark Beidermann of , who had a big influence on the Bay Area scene at one time.

Fun fact #1: the bassist of Blind Illusion back then was a pre-Primus (and wayyy pre- ) .

Fun fact #2: A guitar lick on Blind Illusion’s demo is said to have influenced a lick on “Welcome Home (Sanitarium),” the one at 2:26 (I don’t remember the exact song but remember agreeing it sounded similar. And I’ll bet the folks behind the doc could tell you exactly....pic probably by MITFR’s Harold O).

Only bringing this up because while many of you might not know the name Blind Illusion - who never went national, going on “hiatus” until quite recently (and has an IG ) - they did have an impact on music/musicians you’re probably familiar with. 👌🎸
