The information and communication revolution has potential to improve productivity and quality of life. On the other side, it has also caused a side effect such as unbalanced of information by a basis of countries, generation and so on. And the Information Access Center (IAC)

which is established by the collaboration of Korea and Bangladesh will be a little help toward minimizing it. IAC is designed to create an environment that the public benefit from IT and to give local inhabitants IT utilization opportunity and to promote IT cooperation between countries. IAC is a complex facility which includes a computer training room, an Internet Lounge, a seminar room and an office room. Moreover, it is providing the local inhabitants with various IT training program, high speed internet with free access and space for IT seminar and so on.

Department of CSE, BUET (http://cse.buet.ac.bd/cnap/) is going to offer the following Networking training courses:
CCNA Routing and Switching Course

The duration of course is around 6 months and in each week, there will be three classes (each 3 hours) that include hands-on labs.

There will be three semesters: CCNA 1 through 3. The semester fee for each semester is Tk 15,000/= which is to be paid at the beginning of each semester. There are an additional (one time) admission fee of Tk 1,500/-.

Deadline Extended. Class Start on Nov 23, 2019.

Bangladesh-Korea Information Access Center (BK-IAC), Department of CSE, BUET (http://cse.buet.ac.bd/iac/) is going to offer the following IT training courses:

1. Database Management and Administration (Oracle 11g)
2. Introduction to Machine Learning with Python
3. Web development with django
4. Optimization with genetic Algorithm

The courses will commence from November 2019. These are evening courses, and after successful completion of a course, you get a certificate.One IAC Fellowship (half fee studentships) per course will be awarded based on the results in the Final exam. Only students obtaining Grade A+ will be eligble for IAC Fellowship. The decision of the award committee will be final.

Please note that, BK-IAC a joint collaborative organization of Government of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and Department of CSE, BUET. BK-IAC was nominated several times and won the “Best IAC Award” in 2013 and 2017 among the 54 IACs around the world.

This is the announcement of 24rd Batch. The fee per course is 15,000 BDT or 10,000 BDT (excluding a form fee of 300 BDT).
