Special shoutout to our Fish House team!🐟🏠
This morning, the businesses of Varadero Marina came together for a beach clean-up initiative, and we especially want to recognize our Fish House crew for showing up bright and early at 7AM on their day off & after a busy Mother’s Day weekend.

We’re incredibly proud of their willingness to give back, be great sports, and show up for such a meaningful cause🙌🏻

We want to share something important with our community 🐾

We’re located right behind the airport and as many of you know this is an area where dogs are often abandoned. Many of them end up at our restaurant, and while we care, as a dining establishment, we can’t have stray dogs staying on the property.

Some of the dogs are friendly, but others can be unpredictable and have unfortunately caused incidents involving our staff and guests. Despite reaching out to local authorities and animal foundations, we haven’t been able to find a solution and are currently left managing the situation on our own.

We’ve already stepped in by adopting and rehoming a full litter of puppies that were abandoned here, but unfortunately we’re not in a position to continue taking in and caring for more.
That’s why we’re asking for your help 🤍

We kindly ask guests not to feed the dogs, as this encourages them to stay. Instead, if you’d like to help, please speak to our team as we have set up a donation initiative, where contributions will go directly to local dog foundations doing incredible work on the island.

At the same time, we are reaching out to any foundations or individuals who may be able to assist with these dogs. We truly want to be part of the solution, but we can’t do it alone.
If you’re able to help in any way, or know someone who can, please reach out to us.
