Imagine two kids in grade 8 at Coorparoo High School in 1972 becoming good mates. They finish school, then life does what life does. Different paths. Different adventures. Different faces, different places; totally different lives. Decades pass, but in 2020 they find each other again on Facebook- as you do! Two old school friends reconnect and start texting like they’re back at high school again. Then imagine last night, at their 50 year school reunion, in our little bar, in front of all their friends from the Class of 1976, Neil got down on one knee and asked Marg to marry him! She said yes. Fifty years after school they got the ending they were destined to have, love told us a story that only time could tell, and now we all have proof that there are still some good things left in this world. 💕

I wanted to post something funny today, but I just can’t bring myself to even pretend to be happy. Life comes at you fast sometimes, and when things end unexpectedly, you’re left trying to make sense of what comes next. Although I’m hurting a lot right now, I want to reassure everyone that both businesses will continue to operate as usual, and ask that you understand if I’m not my usual self as I navigate what my future looks like now that Off Campus has ended. The hardest part is knowing Garrett Graham isn’t here to tell me it’s all going to be okay. 💔

After cycling, trekking and climbing his way from sea level in India to the summit of Mount Everest, Oliver has officially broken the Sea-to-Summit WORLD RECORD, reaching the top of the world in just 50 days, pushing through some of the harshest physical and mental conditions on earth, to raise money and awareness for youth mental health- and made history doing it! Please join us from 3pm Sunday afternoon, June 7th, as we celebrate an extraordinary achievement, hear the stories from the mountain, and welcome home a local legend who just put Wynnum on the world stage.
