Take some of the best sailors in the world, give them the simplest catamarans in the world and add a pumping Jervis Bay nor’easter. That’s the Twilight Wave GP.
We headed down to Vincentia Sailing Club for an afternoon of short races, quick changeovers and plenty of friendly competition. The boats were flying, the smiles were getting wider and the team may have discovered one of the best ways to spend an afternoon in the Bay. (Outside the taproom of course).

For the next instalment of Days in the Bay, we headed down to Vincentia Sailing Club to join in on some of the action for their Twilight Wave GP, where some seriously good sailors go head-to-head on Hobie Waves in a series of short, fast races just off the beach.
The nor’easter was pumping, the racing was close and the team were smiling like kids at Christmas.

We’ve swapped the brewery for the beach again and this time, the nor’easter came along for the ride. We headed down to Vincentia Sailing Club to spend the afternoon with champion Hobie sailor Paddy Butler and a crew who know their way around the Bay better than most.
We tagged along for their Hobie Wave GP. A collection of some of the World’s best Sailors in ten-minute races in Hobie Waves (one of the worlds easies cats to sail), plenty of pace, some friendly competition, and a healthy dose of chaos made for a great day on the water.
We closed out the day with a couple of our finest, a few laughs and the team declaring that they’ve found their new thing.

We’ve been spending some time away from the brewery with the good folks at Branding & Content Studio , WOEBEGONE DIVE , Sea Kayak Jervis Bay and Vincentia Sailing Club to bring you a little more of a taste of our place.
Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing longer videos about some of the awesome people, places and experiences our home has to offer—other than the taproom, of course.
