The Westbury Waddle Club is now every Thursday morning!

Meet for 6.25am for a 6.30am start.

Walk, run, dog walk - whatever takes your fancy to keep you motivated during the cooler months.

Big thanks to Mark from Westbury Town Common parkrun for creating The Westbury Waddle Route.

It's hard to believe that after 2.5years, today was our final brew together.

A sweet little 16-year-old who had been dobbed in by her Mumma Bear to take up a weekend coffee job at this place called Love Lucy Boots. You jumped straight in. There were the early days of perfecting your latte art and proudly capturing photographic evidence of every success. The quiet confidence. The attention to quality. The watchful observations. The quiet calm under pressure. And now, a firm fixture of the Love Lucy Boots family.

One of the greatest privileges of hospitality is working alongside young people. They become family. They become an extension of your brand and your community. They remind you why small business matters and the importance of investing in the younger generations + hospitality. We get a brief chapter in their lives, and then we have the privilege of watching them grow into adulthood and conquer the world.

Alfie, you have been an absolute delight.

You are wise, funny and fiercely loyal, with a gentle, quiet sass that has often kept me in line.

Please don't stop painting. Please don't stop creating. And please don't ever stop being you.

You definitely make this world a better place.

Go forth and adventure, our dear Alfie. The big wide world awaits.

We will all be watching proudly (and perhaps a little enviously) from afar as you travel the world and will be looking forward to the day you pass through our door again.

Winding down after a fabulous evening of Wine + Good Company with our first Winter Wine Evening. What an absolute delight of a crew doing what they do best and supporting small and local.

And in even better news...we are open all long weekend.

But in not so good news, I have a busted dishwasher, alas takeaway cups all weekend - so this is your opportunity to BYO any coffee drinking vessel that you care to delight in.

We’re throwing another little winter wine night… and this one is going to be bloody delicious. 

Join us as we welcome Mauricio — the Wine Master + Mat from
to the Wine Room for an evening celebrating what we love best - wine, food and life. 

This is Mauricio’s only Northern Tassie stop, and we'll be opening bottles from across the Somos portfolio, so it’s your chance to taste the wines, ask all the questions and grab a few Cellar Door specials to get you through the winter ahead. 

No big formalities. No wine w**k. Just really good wine and a cosy night in the Wine Room with two of our favourite Wine Guys.

Third Wednesday of the Month. 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Tonight *should* be the inaugural meet but due to a scheduling conflict (ie I'm in Sydney), we are meeting tomorrow night for the first time.

Pop Update!

Yes! He is still on the mainland! Yes he is busy socialising but misses his favourite coffee and whisky spot and will be home in a couple of weeks.

But in more exciting news, he has a car for sale!

So if you're interested in having a little bit of Stevie Fleming history in your life - have a look!

And yes, I'd always imagined this would be the Lucy Boots Ute with two fat Labradors riding around on the back!
