The Malt House Malthouse | Restaurant + Bar The name The Malt House, is borrowed from Warwick's History. Up the timber staircase, The Malt House offers the rooftop area.

The Malth House was owned by Jones & Sons LTD located on the corner of Fitzroy and Lyons Streets during the late 1800's. The Malt House opened its doors in 2017 and is localised on the main road and the historic building underwent a total refurbishment before opening, giving it a contemporary look but preserving the rustic outdoor seating area which overlooks the city streets while natural light f

loods the area through its open windows. It is a wonderful open space to appreciate the city view and organise large celebrations. We wish to provide unsurpassed service to this amazing community.

Warm yourselves up with some BANGERS & MASH with housemade onion gravy. Beautiful to look at? Not particularly.. but it’s what’s inside that counts, right?

Speaking of what’s inside.. these 3 voluptuous beef bangers are garlic & paprika flavoured. Made fresh by the best in the biz The Meat House on Pratten. Perfect amount of flavour without being over the top or bland.

✅ everything is crumbed in house - not from a bag in the freezer 😏
✅ Australian lemon crumbed Barramundi
✅ 4 large crumbed prawns & 3 crumbed scallops
✅ lemon pepper squid
✅ crispy chips
✅ the best tartare sauce you’ll ever have
✅ have we mentioned yet it’s 100% gluten free? Oh- well it is 😍

It was our absolute honour to host Eva & Nic’s engagement party over lunch yesterday.

Eva & Nic chose to have a few nibbles as everyone was arriving followed by guests ordering lunch off the main menu.
Their event was held in the alfresco area which comfortably held their approximately 45 guests.

Eva & Nic self decorated (with a little guidance from us), they provided their own cake which we cut up and served (at no extra cost!)- if you’re wondering who made such a gorgeous cake it was done by Wattle & Wolf Bakehouse

We absolutely LOVVVEEE holding functions. Whether you only need half the venue or the whole venue- set menu, canapés or al la carte, we have so many options available.

We may not be the biggest venue with all the flashy new things but I think there’s something cosy, intimate and charming in a small & well done event.

Triple choc chunk cheesecake. Made in house - multiple times a week. 🧑‍🍳

Choc biccy base, chunks of white & dark chocolate, choc fudge flavoured cheesecake and choc fudge swirl on top. Served with cream and more chocolate lol.
