Cassie Workman's Animation Project has kicked off it's Kickstarter Campaign!

SORRY ABOUT THE MESS is a punk rock adult animated comedy fantasy series written by and starring award-winning Australian trans comedian Cassie Workman, with executive producer Lilly Wachowski (The Matrix).

This isn’t just another series waiting around for buyer permission. On June 15, during Pride Month, Cassie officially launch the Kickstarter campaign for SORRY ABOUT THE MESS. The Kickstarter campaign directly funds the pilot episode, planned for online release in 2027. The fundraiser will help create a creator-first animated series for audiences who rarely get to see themselves authentically reflected in adult animation.

Funders gain rewards based on how much they donate to this project, and ultimately get the chance to help create a unique and important piece of art of the kind that isn't getting made through regular means.
