Looking forward to a great weekend at the pub this weekend to celebrate the Ultima Roos in their last appearance in the blue and white - what a way to finish this proud history by playing in the Grand Final!
Seniors and Reserves in the footy and
B-Reserve and C Grade in the netball - come along and celebrate the season with us.

We’re kicking off on Friday evening with the famous meat raffle followed by SEN Track’s very own Gareth Hall hosting Winners live from the pub on Saturday morning so come on down for a bacon and egg roll and be part of the fun.

Once a humble wine saloon, the Ultima Hotel rose from the ashes—rebuilt as a grand two-story wonder for £11,000 (a fortune back then!). With silver service dining rooms and beer flowing at just one shilling and sixpence, it became the heart of a bustling wheat town.

Through the Great Depression and the dust storms of the '40s, the pub stood strong—offering sandwiches to the hungry, a piano to sing around, and a safe haven for colourful locals like Popeye, "Arf a Mo," and The Spotted Horror.

Illegal bar under the stairs? Raids by the Flying Gang? You bet. And if you ever spot a frosted window with clear glass facing south—yep, that was for keeping an eye out for the copper.

Run by the same family for 50 years, the Ultima Hotel is a true-blue Aussie icon. 🍺🇦🇺

Not long now ‘til the Ultima Hotel, Swan Hill Cup Calcutta brought to you by
Kicking off at 7.00pm next Saturday night, June 8th, there’s sure to be plenty of fun and excitement around who gets the loot.
Tickets for the Calcutta Draw @ $10.00 which includes a beer or wine, with no limit of how many tickets you can buy!
Calcutta Rules:
- Once sold, tickets are drawn out with that prize being a horse in The Swan Hill Cup. The money generated through ticket sales goes into the pool.
- Once all horses are drawn, each horse is auctioned off, with funds raised going into the pool and to the person that drew that horse in the raffle.
- 50% of the auction sale price price goes into the pool, and 50% goes to the person that drew the horse
- Once run and won, the payout will be as follows:
Winner- 60% of the pool
Second Place - 25% of the pool
Third Place - 10% of the pool
Last - 5% of the pool

Courtesy bus running from Swan Hill Race Track and return - bookings are essential so please contact us to confirm.
