PINOT GRIGIO OR PINOT GRIS… which one do you order?

The difference is often in the style. Pinot Grigio is typically lighter, crisp and refreshing, while Pinot Gris is often richer, fuller and more aromatic.

🍷 WINE FACTS — because there’s always something new to learn about wine!

We thought we’d start sharing a few simple wine facts — the little things you might have heard before, wondered about, or perhaps never knew at all.

And where better to start than Champagne? 🥂

Champagne isn’t simply another word for bubbles. That name belongs to wines produced in the Champagne region of France under specific rules.

So next time someone says, “Let’s have some Champagne”… you can decide whether they really mean Champagne, or just something delicious and sparkling. 😉

One of the things I want NQ Entertainment to make easier is that dreaded question:

That’s why I’m so excited to be working with The Wine Bar 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞.

It’s a beautiful venue in the heart of the city, with fantastic food and drinks, intimate spaces and the perfect atmosphere for the kind of events we love creating.

Pair that with NQ Entertainment’s hosted games, trivia, murder mysteries and custom entertainment and you’ve got the ingredients for a pretty fantastic night. ✨

Townsville you spoke. We listened. 🫶🏻

A few weeks ago, we asked Townsville a pretty simple question — does getting to and from the CBD influence how often you choose to come into the city?

And WOW did you guys blow us away ......🙊

249 of you legends, took the time to respond, and many shared personal experiences about the cost of getting home, unreliable transport, safety concerns and the difficulties faced by those living further out from the CBD.

What started as conversations with our own customers quickly showed us that this may be a much broader issue.

We certainly don’t pretend to have the answer, and we don’t believe there is one simple solution. What we can do is make sure the feedback you gave us doesn’t just sit in a survey.

We’ve now compiled the findings into a report and have begun sharing them with local and State stakeholders who are much better placed to explore what might be possible.

Our hope is simply that this helps start a bigger conversation about how we make it easier, safer and more affordable for people across Townsville to enjoy our CBD and support the many businesses that call it home.

A huge thank you to every person who completed the survey, shared it, or took the time to tell us about their experience.

You gave us your voice. Now we will do our best to make sure it’s heard. 🤍
