Today is a huge day for our new club - our first official game and the boys are absolutely pumped and so proud to represent the wonderful community of Swan Hill!

For our club manager and co-founder, Jona Ovini, today is the culmination of years of dreaming, patience and persistence.

For many of our team it is a chance to play a game they grew up with, a part of home that they thought they'd given up in coming to Australia.

Perhaps most excited of all will be the young players new to rugby who will play their first game, make their first tackles, take their first big hit or two and (maybe) score their first tries. They join a family like no other. Welcome.

This day would not have been possible without the incredible support of the people of Swan Hill who have got behind this new club and said Yes! at every turn. Thank you so much.

We can't wait to play at home and try to return some of the love we have been shown over the past three months ❤️🏉🙏👏😃🦢

Look what Drift Sand Blooms are up to …

A WONDERFUL END TO SEASON 2023/24 Yesterday was huge for the team at Drift Sand Blooms! If you were at the Food and Fibre Market at Country Club Hotel - Tooleybuc , you might have noticed some younger (and better-looking) folk selling our flowers. Thanks to Hannah, Jacob, Rach and Dad (Lex) for stepping in.

Meanwhile, Mum (Wendy) and I were busy hosting a group of like-minded garden enthusiasts from the Swan Hill Garden Group. We had the best morning talking about all things gardening as they helped us with the final pick for the season. We then shared a delicious morning tea prepared by Mum and my mother-in-law, Marge. We raised $221.55 for the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea.

Without a doubt, Mum and I are finishing the season on the highest of high notes. We want to thank all of you for reaching out to us for flowers over the last five months. It's been an honour and a privilege to share our flowers with you. We grow flowers because we love them, and knowing others appreciate them lets us say we are living our dream. Thank you once again for your support.

Saturday night is that time! Tacko has decided it’s time for the beard to come off and all in the name of charity 🧔‍♀️

He’s chosen Orange Door (Mallee Domestic Violence Services) as his nominated charity and the big shave is happening 8pm Saturday night Country Club Hotel - Tooleybuc

Annette Norton is our shaving expert .. she will chip an extra large donation if Alex Norton also loses his facial hair!
