SUNDAY SEND-OFF AT THE TOLMIE TAVERN

This is it.

One last Sunday service with Doc and Kymmy at the helm, and we’d love nothing more than to fill the tavern with the people who have made this place what it is.

Come down for a beer, a yarn, a laugh, and maybe a few tears as we celebrate two absolute legends who have poured their hearts into the Tolmie Tavern.

🍺 Happy Hour 3pm - 4pm
🎯 FINAL PLINKO JACKPOT - $600

And if nobody takes home the big one, we’re not stopping until SIX people have walked away with $100 each!

Let’s send them off the only way Tolmie knows how — with a full pub, plenty of stories, and a whole lot of good times.

TODAY’S THE DAY!

Come join us from 3pm as we send off Doc, Kymmy & Peachy in true Tolmie Tavern style!

We’ll be pouring one of our legendary Happy Hours, spinning the Plinko board, and raising a glass (or three) to the trio who’ve helped make this place what it is.

And if you’ve got a Tolmie Tavern flanno, make sure you wear it… we’ve got something special planned!

So round up your mates, dust off the flannel, and we’ll see you all at the bar from 3pm.

Here’s to Doc, Kymmy & Peachy — let’s give them a send-off they’ll never forget!

The last Thursday with Doc at the helm… and fair dinkum, did we send it! 

A packed pub full of our favourite people, plenty of laughs, cold beers flowing, and the biggest Blue Nose Pool Comp we’ve seen yet. The atmosphere was electric from the first pot poured to the last cheers of the night.

A huge thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a cracker of a Thursday send-off. It’s nights like these that remind us what makes the Tolmie Tavern so special — good people, good yarns, and a community that knows how to have a good time.

If that’s how we’re starting the weekend, we can’t wait to see what the rest of it has in store!

THIS WEEKEND AT THE TOLMIE TAVERN

We know a whole lot of you will be making the trip to Tolmie this weekend to raise a glass, share a story, and help us farewell our favourite publican, the beautiful Kymmy, along with our four-legged superstar Peachy.

It’s shaping up to be a massive weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited to see so many familiar faces walk through the doors.

If you’re planning on joining us for lunch or dinner, we’d love you to book ahead where possible. We’ll have the kitchen firing on all cylinders, but if everyone decides to arrive at once, there may be a few extra minutes to wait for your meal.

So do your future hungry self a favour and lock in a booking!

Whether you’re coming for a feed, a beer, a cuddle from Peachy, or one last yarn with Doc and Kymmy behind the bar, we’re looking forward to celebrating the end of an incredible chapter with all of you.

After 11 incredible years, the time has come for a new chapter at the Tolmie Tavern.

As of next week, the Tolmie Tavern will officially be under new ownership and management, and we’d like to warmly welcome the Southgate family as they take the reins of our beloved pub. We wish them nothing but the very best and know the Tavern will be in great hands.

To all our customers, mates, families, locals, travellers, and everyone who’s walked through our doors over the years — thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, it’s been an absolute pleasure sharing the laughs, stories, beers, good times, hard times, and memories with you all. The support this little country pub has received over the last 11 years has meant more than words can say.

Our final service will be this Sunday from 11am – 6pm, and we’d love for everyone to swing down over the weekend for a beer or 10 to send off our time in true Tolmie Tavern style — with laughter, stories, cold beers, and the people who made this place what it is.

After the 31st, the Tolmie Tavern will be temporarily closed until reopening under the new owners.

It’s not goodbye forever — just the end of one beautiful chapter and the beginning of another.

If you’ve ever walked through the doors of the Tolmie Tavern and been greeted by Peachy before you’ve even ordered a beer, then you already know she’s not just the pub dog — she’s part of the soul of the place. Whether she’s waiting at the top of the stairs to es**rt you onto the deck, giving you the old gentle paw-tap while you’re sitting on the couch because she reckons pats should be mandatory, or quietly making the rounds checking everyone’s doing alright, Peachy’s become one of those “quiet heroes” the Last Real Aussies sing about. The kind that don’t ask for attention but somehow hold the whole place together anyway. They wrote a song about our pub, our publican and the beautiful Kymmy, but they missed one of the most important parts — the four-legged local who makes strangers feel like regulars and regulars feel like family. She’s there through the laughs, the late nights, the stories, the hard days and the good ones, tail wagging like she owns the joint (which honestly… she probably does). Around here, Peachy isn’t just a pub pup — she’s Tolmie gold.
