Feeling blessed after an amazing long weekend at The Railway! 🎉

We had the privilege of celebrating a 21st birthday, an 18th birthday, two 80th birthdays, and a beautiful christening.

On top of that, we welcomed all the regular happy faces who walk through our doors each day.

A huge thank you to everyone who chose The Railway Hotel to celebrate your special occasions and spend time with family and friends. We are grateful to be part of so many wonderful memories.

At The Railway, we are proud to be fully compliant with the newly introduced waste separation laws, which now require businesses to separate food waste from general waste.

The good news is that we've already been doing this for years, well before the mandate came into effect. Sustainability and reducing waste have always been part of how we operate.

Our waste management practices include:
♻️ Recycling all cardboard
♻️ Recycling all used cooking oil
♻️ Recycling all bottles and cans
🐕 Leftover meat is enjoyed by our dogs
🐖 Salad, chips, bones, vegetables, and sauces are collected by a local pig farmer for reuse.

By diverting waste from landfill and supporting local recycling and farming initiatives, we're helping create a more sustainable future for our community while supporting local businesses and farmers.

Thank you to our staff, customers, and local partners for helping us continue these practices and make a positive difference.
