"first" day of Summer. The forecast is top of 16°C and up to 10mm of rain. I have long thought that the seasons in Tassie follow the sun and that it isn't really Summer until the Summer Solstice on 22 December.

The hops are quite slow this year it has been very mild. Some warmer days forecast later this week should get things moving along.

It's been a bit quiet around the farm lately. So we snuck off to Japan for a few weeks. Visited .official , saw some castles, took photos of a cloudy mountain, sniffed some sulphur, caught a few trains (with lots of people), met a really tall guy and saw the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean.

Hops are going slowly this year, it's been a bit too cold still. Fingers crossed things warm up.
