Winter has definitely arrived this week and so has our Winter Seasonal Specials Menu! French Leeks on Toast, Lamb Shanks in Red Wine and Rosemary Sauce and Black Cherry Crumble available from 530pm this Friday!

The Friday Night Raffles are supporting the Tarago Riding Club with prizes from HERITAGE COUNTRY MEATS, The Little Barn Tarago, Glendarlyn Stockfeeds, Corang Estate, the Pub and a new prize from Pineview Equestrian! Tickets will be on sale from 530pm.

Saturday Night Jag the Joker is at $550 after going off 2 weeks ago, grab your entries from bar from 4pm.

Due to maintenance on our kitchen, The Loaded Dog will be closing at 8pm on Thursday 28th May. Last orders for the Bistro will be 7.15pm. We will back to normal hours on Friday.

It's Friday Night Special time! This week we have Pork Fillet with a Sun-dried Tomato and Olive Crust.

The raffles are supporting Tarago CWA with tickets on sale from 530pm. Thanks again to HERITAGE COUNTRY MEATS, The Little Barn Tarago, Glendarlyn Stockfeeds, Corang Estate and Lerida Estate Wines Canberra for helping to support the raffles.

Chalkie White will playing the bar from 2pm on Saturday! Head in for a cracking afternoon of live music followed by our $850 Jag The Joker draw at 7pm.

Its been a crazy couple of weeks in Tarago! Anzac Day, Medieval Faire and now Mother's Day just around the corner. Speaking of Anzac Day, we would like to provide an update and final tally of the funds we have raised for Goulburn Legacy through April.

Thanks to our amazing Tarago community we have raised a whopping $5188.70!
A massive thanks to Develop for their generous donation for the 1st spin of 2up. Thanks also to Kate Murphy Property and HERITAGE COUNTRY MEATS for their donations.

Finally a huge thanks you everyone who came out en masse for 2up and donated on the day, bought a sausage from the Karma-que, had a Lamb Burger, Lamb Chops or Friday Night Special or bought raffle tickets. We are so proud of our amazing small town!

It was great to see such a fantastic turnout at the Dawn Service and Gunfire Breakfast. A massive thank you to the organisers, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Today the Pub will be open from 11am to 7pm. The bistro will be open from 12-2pm followed by 2up and our Karma-que in the Beer Garden from 230-5pm. A huge thank you to HERITAGE COUNTRY MEATS for the donation of the Sausages for our Karma-que.

We will be raising funds for Goulburn Legacy all afternoon so come down and support a worthy cause.

Lest we forget.

At 4pm today "The Unknown Soldier" will arrive at the war memorial in Tarago on his charity walk from Holsworthy to Canberra. Dressed in full WW1 kit, the walk will raise funds and awareness for Veterans. If you are in Tarago this afternoon and have the time, please head down and show your support and appreciation for veterans and all they have done for our country.
