Last Spring, Precinct Sommelier Sarah O’Dwyer travelled to Central Otago to help shape the blend, working alongside winemaker Alan Peters-Oswald.

Three vineyards, three personalities. Vela for perfume. Bendigo for earthiness and structure. Queensberry, their home vineyard, for the fruit that holds it all together.
Central Otago doesn’t make it easy. Blazing days, freezing nights, a grape that punishes any mistake. But that tension is exactly where the complexity comes from.

The result: 2025 ESCA x Nanny Goat Pinot Noir. Classic, dark red berry, spice. A shared story between Sydney and the South Island, poured by the glass. Best enjoyed by the bottle. Available now across esca.

Some occasions call for a room of your own.
Aalia Wine Room is made for standing together. Glasses in hand, canapés passing between conversations, Martin Place glowing through the glass and Seidler’s MLC framing the night.
