Same liquid. New look.

Over the last year, we worked alongside Archie Rose co-owner Chris Hemsworth to give our core whiskies a completely new look. The result are new flask- shaped bottles inspired by the rugged Australian landscape, new gift boxes, and a refreshed Archie Rose logo. The bottles feature textured glass, and are a lighter weight, in line with our commitment as a certified B Corp.

For our award-winning Single Malt Wh**ky and renamed Straight Rye Malt Wh**ky (previously Rye Malt Wh**ky) the award-winning liquid is untouched. 12 years of distilling experience, 50,000 casks under bond, and the same un-compromised process: 100% locally sourced Australian malts fermented, distilled, and matured separately at our distillery in Sydney alongside local partners like Voyager Craft Malt in NSW. We've added Australian Original Wh**ky to the range at a more approachable ABV, ready to enjoy neat, or in your favourite cocktail.

Effortless, effervescent, and subtly herbal, this highball pairs our Triple Smoked Single Malt Wh**ky with a homemade rosemary syrup for a crisp, lifted serve ready for the warmer weather. 🍊🥃

Ingredients:
30mL Triple Smoked Single Malt Wh**ky
10mL rosemary syrup
soda water (In the bar, we use Midnight Mixers)

Method:
1. Fill your highball glass to the top with ice.
2. Build the drink directly in the glass: start with the wh**ky, add the rosemary syrup, and top with soda water.
3. Stir gently to combine and garnish with an orange twist.

To make the homemade rosemary syrup, take 16g fresh rosemary (a few sprigs), 160mL water and 160g sugar, and combine all ingredients in a pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow the rosemary to steep in the syrup for 30 minutes before straining and bottling.

This rich, smoky cocktail is a combination of Triple Smoked Wh**ky, house-made cinnamon cola syrup stirred down and garnished with a toasted cinnamon stick.

It’s official! Chris Hemsworth joins Archie Rose as co-owner to take Australian wh**ky to the world 🥃

Since 2014, our approach has been to create whiskies, gins and other spirits shaped by Australian nature at our distillery in Sydney. We’re beyond proud and excited to announce that Chris Hemsworth has now officially joined founder Will Edwards as a co-owner in the business to take our award-winning Australian grown and made spirits to the world.

In the words of Chris: “I’ve been a fan of Archie Rose for a long time. Wherever I am in the world, tasting an Archie Rose wh**ky immediately transports me right back home, to that
feeling of sitting around a campfire in the Australian bush with my mates. Their ethos of only using Australian grown malts to produce flavour packed whiskies at their Sydney distillery is truly awesome. They’re a brilliant example of what Australia does best, and I can’t wait to share that with the world.”

Archie Rose remains an independent, Australian-owned business—run by Will, with all spirits produced at our Sydney distillery by Master Distiller Dave Withers alongside our 90 strong team. The Archie Rose Bar in Rosebery, Sydney will also remain our brand home and cellar door.

Later this year we’ll be rolling out a range of new products created together with Chris that we can’t wait to share with you.
