2023 Vanguardist ‘V’ Grenache, Mclaren Vale

This single site grenache from Blewitt Springs SA offers some exceptional fruit. The vines are old, planted 50 years ago, 60% whole bunch fruit and harvested by hand. The wine has heaps of character, bright red fruit up front, a huge amount of complexity and mineral driven finish that lasts for what seems like forever with gentle tannins to sum up a very delicious experience. It’s really yum.
