Great to bring everyone together at for a very stylish dinner on Weds night at CHIN CHIN Sydney and thanks for your support in kick starting the new and improved BYO VINO Sydney.
Huge thanks to everyone for bringing such interesting wines from Jim's DP 2004, Dan's Mac Forbes Riesling, my aged Harewood Riesling, Hannah's French Vouvray, Nut's Gaia Assertiko, Molly's Grenanche Blanc from the Rhone, Ange's Dry Rose from Barossa, Micky's Beaune Pinot from France, kate's Flux GS Chardonnay, Andrew's Art Series Chardy, Geoffrey's Uruguay big red and Stu's delicious 1994 Tokay to finish!
However the overall vote for best pairing went to Richard who was our winner with pairing the Corn Fritters with The Austria Gruner Veltliner from the Sackville Hotel fridge! He just knew it was time to crack it with people who will appreciate it...And we did!
BYO VINO will be back in the New Year once Richard and I have decided on the next place to host it likely late Jan or early Feb.
