Members Update

Dear Members,
I am pleased to share an update on the St Johns Park Bowling Club Greens & Canopy Project.
The greens have been fenced off since 1 July 2026. We recognise that the delay in starting excavation, and the limited visible activity on site, have been frustrating for members. These delays were due to issues related to obtaining the Construction Certificate. During this period, we have been working closely with our consultants and builders to prepare for the next stage of the project.
The good news is that our Certifier has now issued the Construction Certificate. We have also received permission from Council to access the site through the neighbouring Council park. These are significant steps forward.
The final set-out of the canopy footings is now being completed, and we expect excavation to commence shortly.
We will keep members informed as the works progress when it is confirmed. Thank you for your patience and continued support as we work towards delivering improved bowling facilities for our members.
