Clarification Statement

Recently, false rumors have been spread about me, which are completely untrue and have caused unnecessary distress to both myself and my café. I have always relied on hard work to support my family and my business, and I have not engaged in any of the actions mentioned in these rumors.

In fact, I invested heavily in equipment and facilities for my former café. After the lease was suddenly terminated, these assets continued to be used by others. This matter is currently under legal process, so I am unable to provide further details at this time.

I want to emphasize that I have never avoided responsibility nor have I ever squandered money irresponsibly. Please do not be misled by false rumors. I sincerely thank my customers and friends for their steadfast trust and continued support.

Dear everyone:

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Cameron Murphy AM MLC and for recently taking the time to visit my new café.
Cameron who is a member of the NSW Parliament was outraged at the unjust and cruel treatment I have suffered.
His guidance has given me hope in my battle to have my cooking and other equipment and furniture returned to me.
This is all I want.

As a small business owner, I am devastated. The kindness and support of local residents has given me hope and strength to keep going.

Thank you once again for standing by me during this tough period. Your support has truly made a difference. Come and say hello at my new cafe and support me until my furniture and equipment is returned to me and I can start again and rebuild.

I operated the AG Cafe on Oxford Street Epping for almost 9 years. I love our local community. Unfortunately my lease has been terminated. I am desperate. I am A mum with two children. I have more than $200,000 in stock, furniture and equipment fitout inside this cafe (now renamed Ellie's Expresso) which has not been returned to me.I have now work a cafe across the road and ask you to support my local business until I win justice. Its the empty cash register

Sorry, I don’t want to waste public resources, but many people who care about our café have been asking about what happened.

On this night at approximately 10 PM, I discovered that items inside the AG store were being cleared out. Upon confronting with them, they claimed that the items were “garbage” and intended to discard them. I told them: all these items were purchased by me, and it is solely my right to determine whether they should be discarded.
Then they leave it on street.

They also claimed to have sent me a message earlier that day to notify me, but I did not receive any such message. Furthermore, neither I nor our solicitor received any written notice or communication from their lawyer. Attempting to clear out the items without providing prior notification constitutes a serious violation of our legal rights.

Although I was able to intervene and prevent the items from being removed, the individuals referenced a list they claimed was provided by our lawyer. However, upon review, this list accounted for only about 10% of the actual items, which is clearly incomplete.

Additionally, our lawyer had issued a formal response requiring their reply by Friday, November 24, at 5 PM. As of now, no response has been received. This lack of communication demonstrates a disregard for legal procedures and a failure to fulfill your obligations.

With assistance from neighbors, I inspected and sorted the items that had been moved outside. During this process, I discovered that cash from the cash register, including all coins, was missing. The spare change stored in he safe had also disappeared. Furthermore, the store’s freezer was damaged during the attempted removal and is now no longer functional.

The tableware and supplies they moved out were all old and unused items. None of the new tableware I purchased, which cost us significantly, was seen. Additionally, the liquor at the bar, along with the red wine and beer stored downstairs, was not removed. The kitchen equipment I replaced, the restaurant’s tables and chairs, as well as the renovation and decoration materials, are all still inside. These items, which we invested over $300,000 in, need to be moved out.
