I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for their support at The Stag this year. I took over the role of venue booker in January after the venue went through some very tough times. Thanks to Marvan Hotels for having faith in me to do the job. I finished in this role yesterday on a high after a killer weekend of shows. It hasn’t been an easy job although I am very happy that the venue has continued to evolve and move forward in Sydney’s challenging live music environment. Without promoters and bands continuing to book shows and the public’s ongoing support of these shows the venue would have been another one that we lost. We have emerged through some grim times with a very exciting future ahead of us as The Stag soon commences it’s transformation into Crowbar Sydney. Please continue to support live music in Sydney at this venue and others and I hope to see you all at a show soon for a chat and a beer.
