Winter isn’t far away… and so is our new menu!

Nothing hits quite like proper izakaya comfort when it’s cold out - think the return of warm bowls of oden, melt-in-your-mouth kakuni, crispy sausage bites to share, and a cheeky teriyaki chicken pizza for good measure.

Pair it all with a Yuzu Honey Sour or our Gari Ginger Chu-Hi and you’re pretty much set for the perfect winter night.

We’re open as usual all weekend… the only change is Good Friday by law we have to close a little earlier (10pm last drinks).

Still plenty of time to swing by for drinks, food and good vibes — whether it’s a chill catch up or a full night out.

Thank you to everyone who visited Nakano Darling this year, especially our many, many regulars who make this place what it is!

It’s been another big year of laughs, drinks, and late nights at Sydney’s favourite izakaya. Our last night of service is Christmas Eve, and we’ll be back January 2 to kick off 2026 the right way - with cold beer, delicious Japanese dishes and good company.

Thanks for choosing us time and time again. We can’t wait to see you all in the new year!
