TONIGHT AT S.E.A.T — Sydney Emerging Artists Tuesday
And just quietly…this little Tuesday underground movement we started? It’s turning into something pretty damn special.
Every week the room gets fuller, the artists get braver, the audience gets more connected, and the music keeps hitting harder.
So first things first - thank you to all the OG S.E.A.T performers who have trusted us with your songs, your stories, your originals, your weirdness, your heartbreak, your re-imagined classics and your beautiful chaos.
You built this night with us.
Tonight kicks off 7pm SHARP with the return of one of our originals - Anthony Goodridge!
A true supporter from day one, a beautiful songwriter, storyteller and entertainer with warmth pouring out of him.
If you’ve never seen Anthony perform before, tonight’s your chance to understand why we adore him.
From there:
Jason - angelic vocals with Sean Mackenzie on piano!
The Revella - one of the most unique artists we’ve seen walk through these doors!
Erik Stripparo - a powerhouse musician and one of the warmest souls in the room any given night.
Matt Tanks - fearless, hilarious, gets better every single week and becoming pure S.E.A.T furniture.
Christine Maclean - Dolly’s “protege”, owner of an absolutely ridiculous voice, closing the night with what promises to be a goosebump moment.
And who knows…Sparkle may appear out of thin air again like the mysterious musical fairy she is.
This is what S.E.A.T is about:
Not ego.
Not industry nonsense.
Not cliques.
Just musicians, music lovers, originals, connection, nerves, courage, growth and one hell of an intimate listening room underneath Kings Cross.
Doors open 6pm.
Live Music starts 7pm sharp!
Underground - 220 William Street, Kings Cross (3 mins from train station - so no excuses!)
Delicious home-made “Kazagna” & salad - $25!
Meatball Subs are back tonight!
Three surprise cocktail specials launching tonight!
Then after the performances?
Into the Piano Room we go until 2am like the slightly damaged rockstars we all apparently became somewhere along the way.
See you in the basement. x
