Huge thanks to everyone who dined with us yesterday 🙏
We experienced an incredible wave of guests due to the Australia tour happening just 3 minutes away from our restaurant.
With performances at 3:00pm and 7:30pm, we saw strong pre-show rushes for both lunch and dinner services.
We sincerely apologise for those who missed out on dining with us or had waited long time for food due to a staff shortage, we’re truly grateful for your patience and support on our busiest day ever — and we’re proud to share that we achieved our highest sales record.

We had the honour of hosting members of the team during their training camp on the Sunshine Coast last week 🇯🇵🏊‍♂️

Thank you for visiting us, enjoying our hospitality and for sharing these special moments with our restaurant❣️

On their final day, we had prepared a T-shirt to ask for their signatures — and to our surprise, the team had kindly brought one for us as well❣️🥰

We truly appreciate the signed shirts — a wonderful memory for us🙏🏻

We are so proud of Ben san for completing our ✖️Cultural Understanding Programme 🇯🇵✨

What makes his journey even more special is the story behind it

Ben and his family have been regular customers since the very beginning
when we first opened

Back in 2019, when he was in high school
he arranged a personal with us for a few months, on his own initiative, independently from the usual school programme

After that, he continued visiting us as a beloved customer for many years

About a year ago, his curiosity about the Japanese language brought him back to our team once again — this time as an ❣️

When he started the programme
he was an absolute beginner
and one of his main motivations was to prepare for a personal trip to Japan at the end of the year

Compared to his previous experiences
he was thrilled to see how much more confidently he could communicate 😆💪

Through this programme, he has been able to study Japanese alongside his work.
By taking lessons almost every day and working closely with our team
he has not only deepened his understanding of
but also developed his Japanese language skills naturally, and retained them far more effectively❣️

Over the past year, Ben has completed around 130 hours of Japanese lessons, gaining both language and cultural fluency

Watching a curious high school student grow from an absolute beginner into a dedicated learner and valuable team member has truly been a joy for us❤️

Life has a beautiful way of bringing people back together
and we are grateful that our paths crossed again like this 🥰

In Japanese culture, we often speak of “ #縁 (en)” — the special connections that bring people together.
This is what we call “EN”

Ben, thank you for being part of the Zee慈/ Jalc family❣️
