So honoured to have received a nomination for the Australian Music Prize.
You never go into making an album expecting rewards or riches at the end of the rainbow, but I won’t lie—it feels pretty validating to know that all the time, love and creative energy that went into what I consider to be my best work has connected with others too.
A huge shoutout to everyone who helped bring ‘Hybrid’ to life. Special thanks to my main writing partners, Warren Hunter and Gilly G for helping shape these songs from the ground up.
Big love as well to Graeme Pogson and Daniel Mougerman (our resident social media deniers!), who were an enormous part of bringing this whole thing together.
And finally, thank you to everyone who’s listened, bought the record, streamed it, shared it, or come out to a show. Independent music only exists because people choose to support it, and I’m so grateful that you’ve embraced Hybrid. It truly means the world.
