🌟Sports Person of the Month Winner for April 2026 was Ethan Kent 🌟

May saw Ethan reach an exciting new high in his athletics journey!

Earlier in 2026, Ethan successfully qualified for the Regional Australia Team (RAT) in the U18 Men’s Javelin, earning the opportunity to compete at the 2026 Oceania Championships in Darwin from 18–23 May.

Competing against talented young athletes representing New Zealand, Fiji, Australia and Regional Australia, Ethan was one of the youngest competitors in his event.

Ethan finished an impressive 7th place, throwing a personal best of 49.83m!

This fantastic achievement is a reflection of the hard work and dedication Ethan put into his training in the lead-up to the championships. Even during the athletics off-season, he continues to train whenever he can and remains committed to improving.

Congratulations Ethan on an outstanding achievement! We wish you every success as you continue to work towards your future athletics goals.
