This one is important to us and to many regional tourism and hospitality businesses.

There are currently discussions around possible changes to Australia’s Working Holiday Maker visa program, including reported proposals that could affect access to second and third Working Holiday visas.

Nothing has formally changed at this stage, but Working Holiday Makers have been an important part of our team at the Stanley Hotel for many years.

We employ locally wherever we can, but in a small regional town like Stanley, having access to Working Holiday Makers helps us get through our busiest seasons when there simply aren’t enough local people available to fill every role.

Two of Stanley’s finest have officially hit the big 3-0, and we’re helping them celebrate the only way we know how. With a good old-fashioned night at the pub! 🎉

From 8pm, DJ .music will be rocking the bar, setting the tone for a big Saturday night.

There’ll be plenty of cold drinks flowing, a few cheeky cocktails making an appearance, and no doubt some questionable dance moves as the night goes on.

Everyone’s welcome, so round up your mates, come down for a drink and help us celebrate!
