Over the last little while, Little Explorers has been quieter.

After losing my grandpa earlier this year, alongside the fullness of motherhood and life, I simply didn’t have the capacity to keep showing up here in the way I wanted to.

Rather than forcing creativity or pushing through overwhelm, I chose to step back and let things settle for a while.

And slowly, something new has started to emerge 🌿

Little Explorers is shifting into a gentler season. One with more focus on sensory parties, play experiences, equipment hire, and flexible offerings that fit around family life a little more sustainably.

The heart behind it all remains the same:
play, connection, curiosity, and spaces where children can simply be children 🤍

I’m really looking forward to sharing this next chapter with you.

After some reflection, I’ve decided to pause our weekly Little Explorers sessions for the remainder of the term 🤍

This Monday at Cobham Place will be our final weekly session, and we’ll still trial Forest Friday this week as planned 🌲

Holding these spaces is something I deeply love — but right now I need to honour the season our family is in.
I’m hopeful to offer 1–2 pop-up sessions later in the term, likely in nature-based community spaces. Keep an eye out ✨

Products are still available for purchase with website coming very soon.
Private bookings, birthdays and event set-ups are still available too. If you’d love a sensory set-up for your own gathering, message me to enquire 🤍

Thank you for being part of this community.

Children often process big feelings through their bodies first.

Movement helps organise emotions, release tension, and find calm again.

Learning doesn’t only happen sitting still — sometimes it happens mid-spin ✨️

Some mornings don’t unfold how you imagined them to.

With very low bookings this morning, I made the call to cancel the session. It’s a reminder of the reality that these offerings take a lot of preparation, intention and energy — and that sustainability matters too.

Before packing down, my own children spent some time enjoying the stations that had already been set up, and it was lovely to see how much joy and curiosity they found in such simple invitations.

I’m taking this as a pause point — a chance to trial, reflect and gently rework how sessions might run in a way that supports families and me.

✨ Next week we’ll be running:
• Messy Monday at Cobham Place
• Forest Friday (trial session) at Tamaterau

If you’ve been meaning to come along, feel curious, or feel called to support these offerings, bookings for next week would mean so much 🤍

After these sessions, I’ll reassess what the rest of the term looks like and share more soon.

Thank you for being here — for valuing slow, thoughtful play spaces and the humans behind them.

Weekly Warm Words 🤍

From play at home…
to a thoughtful gift for another little explorer 🥰

These messages remind me that what we’re creating isn’t just products,
it’s moments, connection, and shared joy.

Thank you for letting Little Explorers be part of your world 🤍

Calm doesn’t always come from still bodies or silent rooms, especially not for our little one.

For children, regulation often comes through movement and repetition.

If things feel busy or heightened at home, play can gently do the work before words ever could 🤍
