FOLKS 🎃

This week’s dinner is a little more spooky than usual (but still delicious!).

We are part of a special event hosted by the Torc Céilí Club - Irish Dance club and the Fremantle Workers’ Club celebrating the traditional Irish Halloween.

Seats are limited! There will be traditional music, dancing and prizes for best dressed.

Chef Kenny is one of those chefs who when he’s in a bad mood (😒) still produces beautiful food.

Tonight was no exception (the bad mood and the exceptional food).

And for those of you busy generating images with AI, these are 100% genuine food photos taken tonight - proof of the deliciously curated menu on offer.

Blood orange, shaved fennel, rocket salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber and a balsamic drizzle.

Tuscan white bean risotto, olives, tomatoes, herbs, olive oil (vegan, gf).

Herb crusted barramundi, basil, lemon, garlic sauce with baked baby potatoes and balsamic glazed broccolini.

We’re back next week with a beautiful Irish themed menu for a special Samhein Ceili evening (head over to our website for more info).

Apologies to our Facebook friends, and thank you to our astute customers - our accounts weren't linked, so you weren't receiving our food updates! Good news - it's now fixed.

We're organised this week and our Friday menu is ready to be pre-ordered. We had a lovely busy night on Friday, but there's no proof unless you were there because our social media lady was busy serving customers.

This week's menu think fresh spring tones, delicate herbs, robust flavours.

Pre-orders are open until 6pm Thursday, walk-ins welcome from 5:30pm Friday. No BYO as the Fremantle Workers' Club have a generously stocked bar for your responsible drinking pleasure.

Our new canapé menu is bursting with fresh, bite sized deliciousness, just in time for the upcoming festive season.

Featuring veg + crab croquettes, these crispy and flavoursome canapés are so good, it’ll be hard to stop at one (or four).

Baked salmon, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, chilli, roast spring veg.

Traditional ratatouille.

Baked ricotta and pumpkin salad with cherry tomatoes, basil, seeded mustard vinaigrette.

Gluten free apple crumble.

Washed down with a glass of good red (or two).

💫 Tonight 💫

Chef Kenny conjured up the feeling of spring emerging on the horizon after a cold winter with his bright and zesty dishes, full of colour, flavour and texture.

Grilled Barra with a fresh salsa verde, lemony oven baked baby potatoes; a chickpea, fennel and apricot tray bake with green beans; a broccolini, cherry tomato and rocket salad + a sticky date toffee pudding with his own butterscotch sauce.

All gluten free, all fresh, all delicious and if you missed out this week we’ll be back next Friday with another menu as fresh as the onset of spring 🌸

For those of you looking for extra fun this weekend, you can folllow Kenny to the The Rec Waroona where he’ll be playing live in his other life as frontman of Los Removalists

☀️Dinner back Friday 4 September☀️

We’re not serving dinner tomorrow night but will be back from next Friday.

Thinking out loud: we’re working with Kidogo on their lovely winter soirée series and it involves weekly soups for the next few weeks.
