Pasta night is back this Thursday - it’s monthly now on the second Thursday of every month, so this is the one to keep free.

Stewart’s list for the 10th:
- pappardelle, lamb, red wine + olive ragu
- spicy zucchini + ricotta baked conchiglioni
- pennoni, sausage, mustard + basil
- prawn ravioli, lemon + garlic cream
- gnocchi, spinach cream, peas, asparagus + whipped ricotta

Five to choose from, first glass of wine included, $40 a head. From 5.30pm.

That's Stewart. Better with a pan than a tray, but we let him out for special occasions.

Father's Day is this Sunday. If you've been meaning to treat Dad and haven't got round to booking, here's where things stand: not much left for Sunday lunch, but there's still room at brunch. And Saturday's open too — lunch or dinner, both quieter than the Sunday rush, and Dad gets looked after either way.

And if a booking isn't happening, a voucher is a fine save. Dad doesn't need to know it was decided at 6pm on a Friday.

The last of the weekly winter pasta nights. After a whole season of Thursdays, we're going monthly from here. Thank you to everyone who made it what it was.

One more this week before the change. What's cooking:
- leek + goat's cheese ravioli + fennel sauce
- cheesy spinach + potato cannelloni
- gnocchi + slow-cooked lamb ragù + mint pesto
- fusilli avellinesi + creamy brussels sprouts + pancetta
- spaghetti aglio e olio + tuna

$40 per head, glass of wine included. Plus a choice of starters, sides and desserts.

And then - the monthly nights begin. Second Thursday of every month - first one Thursday 10 September, from 5.30pm. Same idea, once a month, worth booking ahead.
