If you've been in for dinner lately, chances are Matilda has looked after you.

She's part of our evening team, and the person behind some of the best cocktails in the building.

Matilda somehow stays completely calm no matter how busy it gets, and has a smile that makes you feel looked after the moment you sit down. She's also studying to be a teacher, and honestly, we think her future students are the lucky ones.

✨Bolognaise stuffed conchiglioni with tomato + béchamel
✨Salmon + ricotta ravioli with basil cream.
✨Orecchiette with sausage, broccolini + pecorino

Long weekend incoming. Here's where we're at.
Tonight - Friday set menu, $55pp, two courses. A good way to start the long weekend. Bookings still available.
Saturday - open from 10am for brunch and lunch. Dinner from 5.30pm, filling up fast.
Sunday - we're cooking outside on Main Street from 9am. Egg + bacon rolls, burgers, kranskies, dumplings and soup. Step inside for a coffee. Open for brunch and lunch inside too.
Monday - open from 9am if you're sticking around.

Before Rutherglen fills up for the long weekend, come in for dinner. Thursday pasta night. Friday set menu. The town is still yours.

Tonight is pasta night. Stewart's fresh pasta - choose from 5 pasta dishes, each with a glass of Italian white or red included. $40pp. Where else would you be on a winter Thursday.

Tomorrow night is our two-course set menu. $55pp, two courses, full à la carte also available. The right way to start a long weekend.

Thursday is pasta night at Pickled Sisters, and this week’s menu is worth the drive.
Stewart’s making fresh pasta all week and the line-up this Thursday is:
- rigatoni alla norma
- gnocchi with tomato, olives + salami
- lobster + monkfish ravioli with avocado + mustard cream
- creamy caramelised onion farfalle
- ziti campani with a rich duck ragù

$40 a bowl, and that includes a glass of Italian white or red to go with it. We think that’s a pretty good Thursday night.

Thursday nights in winter call for pasta and a glass of red 🍷

This week Stewart's cooking:
- gnocchi bolognaise
- mushroom + taleggio risotto
- spinach + ricotta ravioli with tomato + chilli
- creste di gallo with ham hock, peas + parmesan
- macaroni with calamari, cherry tomato, olives + capers.

$40 a head with a glass of wine. No fuss. Just a good night out.

It's properly cold out there today.

The kind of cold that makes you want to be somewhere warm, with good wine and something hearty in front of you.

If your plans for the weekend are still open - good. Friday two-course set menu tonight, $55. Sunday lunch. Saturday. We'd love to see you across any of it.

Stewart's been cooking with quinces and slow braises all week. The timing is not a coincidence.
