Want to play Rock Hard Festival on Friday October 2nd. See below ⬇️

The Dreadful Tides wish to announce that Jimmy Black has made the decision that he is no longer able to commit to our future plans.

Following this decision, The Dreadful Tides have decided not to perform at the Rock Hard with Phil & Tish Festival on October 2nd. We sincerely apologise to everyone looking forward to seeing us and thank the festival, organisers and everyone involved for their understanding.

We respect Jimmy’s decision and want to thank him for his time and contribution to The Dreadful Tides.

Strudy, Wes and Leland have decided to take a step back for the next few months. During this time, we’ll continue writing, developing and working on plans behind the scenes as we prepare for our next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. We’ll see you back out on the road in the not-too-distant future.

Unfortunately, our good mates from Ion Sky have had to pull out of ROCK HARD FESTIVAL ’26. 💔

We absolutely love these guys, and if we’re crazy enough to do this awesome festival again next year, they’ll be the first band we call! 🤘

They’ve also got a brand-new track dropping very soon, so please do us and them a favour. Pre-save it, give it a spin and show Ion Sky the love they deserve!
