Friday night watching the Dolphins have a big win at QA Hotel. But pregame dinner of Burramundi was one of the best pub meals I've had for a long while. Located up James Street in the Valley. TAB bar for Saturday afternoons!!!!

Great vibes, good b**rs, lovely outdoor b**r garden, this pub is a must visit in Melbourne. Especially good for a traditional Sunday roast, weekend bookings a must.

Thr Rose - great pub just off the main drag in Fitzroy! It is of course a diehard Brisbane Lions pub but they even had the Brisbane Broncos on one of the TVs on a Saturday night. Great food and very good service. Book for weekend eating. At The Rose Fitzroy
