Very disappointing to see more negative media coverage straight after a huge event that was so uplifting for all. The positive forward movement & prosperity of the town is never publicised, what a bloody shame.

An open request for the media :

We are more than just one sh*tty day on the calendar. Please let us be that again for us and for everyone else.
I know you have papers to sell but if you want to sell stories about us come here and look at all our positive attributes - and then write about them.
Rehashing past events and referring to them in your articles does not help us. You are hurting our residents and our businesses.

We are moving forward because we want our businesses here, we want to see our favourite people, support our locals and our upcoming events. We have so many good things to focus on, this is what we want to talk about! Our future - because the windscreen is bigger than the rear vision mirror for a reason ❤️
