Recently, our team met with Jan from Moving Forward to talk about all the great things your pledges are doing for the community.

With the help of Publinc Communities, they were able to set up a Children's Fund. This fund provides women with a reimbursement for any school, sport or recreational expenses for special days to cover the costs for their children. As well as the Children's Fund, they were able to cover all costs for winter clothing that was needed!

During Crown Hotel’s latest community event, Little Wings CEO Claire shared a story that touched the hearts of many. One of their passengers, at just 5 years old, suffered severe burns across her body. Now 10 years old, she is still flown to and from hospital by Little Wings for skin grafts.

Recently, the young girl asked the Little Wings team who funds her flights, and learned that our members contribute to Little Wings through Publinc Communities in local pubs. Inspired by the generosity of strangers, she has now started collecting bottles to help fund another child’s potentially life-saving trip to hospital with Little Wings.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our members and guests who attended our Community Day on Sunday! A great night filled with heart warming speeches from our Publinc Peers, performances from local talent and plenty of happy faces all around.

The biggest highlight for us was to see our member's generous contributions making an impact on the lives of those in need in our local community.

We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we did, and we can't wait to see you again!

We're continuing to knuckle down and are now working together with our Publinc Communities members to understand how we can be better when we reopen our doors.

We know that the lock down life can sometimes get the best of us, so we're channeling some of those feelings into something constructive that can have real impact for our Revesby community.

Together we're sparking positive change so that the future will be bright when we can welcome you back.

Meet Lara ✨
While Lara loves working at Crown as one of our Gaming Staff, she also loves to play soccer with her team. But due to these circumstances, everything she loved has been put on hold 😔

With so much spare time, Lara thought it would be the best time to revisit her love for painting. She's been finding this time very relaxing and we can't wait to see her soon! 💖

As we play our part to keep our community safe, our Hotel doors are closed but only for now. Before you know it we will be sharing in each other's great company in the flesh once again.

For our awesome Publinc Communities members, your Personal points and Community points will be ready and waiting for your return. It’s times like these our commitment to making a positive difference grows ever stronger and more important for our local communities.

We will continue to support our staff team and keep you up to date as changes come to light. We look forward to that moment when our lights switch back on, our doors unlock and we can get back to what we do best and that is being your local; the place for us all to come together, enjoy good times with great company and do great things for our community.
