It’s today! How joyous. Kicking off with Luke Harrington from 5-7pm, walk-ins only. Here he is gutsing it out with an absolute belter. Don’t be coy, come say hi. This is the good stuff. 🎸

Tipsy Turvy Trivia tables are fully booked from 7:30-10pm and we’re fully booked for dins in the main space.

Then we’ve dessert cocktail specials on from 10pm til close, walk-ins only. Chill out tunes and chillaxed vibes to soothe you into your Sunday.

Has life given YOU a bunch of lemons lately? I suppose you *could* in theory make a really sour kind-of intense lemonade if you really wanted an upper body and wrist workout this arvo.

Or you could just make a lazy metaphor.

OR, you could grab a bunch of aforementioned lemonsies and bring ‘em over to ours and we’ll exchange you for a drinkie. That’s right. A whole real drinkie. That you didn’t have to make yourself.

**Limes also accepted. Oranges? Sure, why not. Fruit in general tends to go well in cocktails, y’know, so we’ll take it alllll of yer hands. The lowest carbon transfer there is. You’ve just gotta walk up the High street real slow like.

And the only workout you’ll be doing for it is lifting a sweet pint to your lips. Plus, what’s the only thing that tastes better than a pint? Yerp, it’s a damn free pint.

***This exchange is also available for wine. A nice glass of the cold white stuff to really quell those summer reds. I’m assuming here, that the opposite of winter blues, is in fact summer reds. That hot sticky BLEURGH anguish of everything just taking a bit longer? We can help with that.

The time is almost upon us for this absolute belter. Night of all nights. Trivia to make you quiverier? This is going to be epic.

This Saturday 25th Feb, after Luke Harrington’s incredible live tunes from 5-7pm, we’ve got the most wildly fun extravaganza kicking off at 7:30pm.

We’ll still be open for general drinkies and fun times in the main bar, but if you’re wanting to join this one-off Tipsy Turvy Trivia Extravaganza, get your tickets on our What’s On page, grab your wristband from the bar when you arrive and wait with baited breath to be escorted by our thespian counterparts to the special trivia space at approximately 7:30pm. Oooh how exciting!

🏆 Expect 100 quiz questions acrosss 5 categories over 3 awesome rounds. Incredible prizes. Fun, games, shenanigans, plus drinks cards to be won throughout the night.

🎭 This is a special fundraising evening for community group Highway 1 Theatre Inc. All ticket sales go towards this incredibly awesome theatre group’s super fun and unfathomably boring but important admin stuff i.e. "insurance" woo!

🤗 This community support will enable their crew to continue touring around remote and rural areas in Victorian towns, as they have done for many years, as well as performing in our venue right here in Rezza throughout 2023.

🎟 Can’t come but love the idea? Choosing "Just a ticket (non-attending)" from the dropdown lets us know that you'll not be attending on the night, but would like to purchase a symbolic ticket to support Highway1 Theatre Inc.

I’m not refreshing the weather app like a psycho, you are. In totally unrelated news, the cool change is set to sweep through our humble hood at approximately 5:52pm this evening, which is a glad tiding to the music and drinkie minded because our big bunga doors are set to fling open at 6pm today.

Just in time for the Winds of Change to sweep down High street and woof you in the door by your coat tails like the parched tumbleweed you are. Can a singlet have coat tails? Has anyone put a bow tie on their thongs yet? Asking the big questions.

Speaking of trundling down the road, Conor Cartwright has made a slightly larger trek all the way from wee Glasgy (via Queensland) to adorn your giant ears with his words of niceness from 6:30pm.

Let’s give him those big warm community feels as we watch the sexy Rezza sunset and apply mozzie repellent together.

Happiest hours specials 6-8pm and dessert cocktail specials 9-10pm. Burger, chippies & a pint deal available on the specials board (all night until sold out). Get amongst it. 🤘

Wahey! We’ve a super special Local Film Makers Night coming up at at the end of this month! Submissions are currently open and can be sent to [email protected] to be featured in the next showcase.

We’ve selected 4 creative films from the submissions thus far (incl. two shorts, one animation, and one live musical accompaniment to silent film).

Spots are available for another 5-6 short films / digital creative works =10 in total, depending on overall run-time. Some may show in the March screening and will be grouped and curated thematically.

The creative evening will include live music, introductions (if required), digital media screenings and complementary popcorn for patrons and the community.

Please include:
✍️ Short synopsis / raison d'etre
🔞 Any trigger warnings / recommended classifications
💁 Names of key people involved in the project
⏰ Approx. run time
📲 Link to the work (any platform accepted)

Happy chippies make happy face go happy fun times. I have hereby tested our very first rosemary salted chippies. Here be the real-time reaction. Moreover I pronounce them delectable, moreish and the perfect accompaniment to literally any beverage.

This is chip #1. Ground zero chippy. Chipmeister. Chip master. Chiptastic. Chippolata? The real chip macoy. Good chips hunting. Every chip pun in history.

The ultimate praise and shout out of all shout outs must go to Pete and Heath for slaving away on this kitchen since records began. You the real MVPs. We’ve been here sweating over saws and bolts and drains and marble bench tops til the wee hours in all the most glamorous ways. And here we are.

Prezalites - if there was a chip signal like there is a bat signal, it’d be beaming up High Street right now. Come and fill your faces and tum tums with our plentiful chippies.

I’m crying over chips right now.
