The Bearded Tit The Bearded Tit is both a queer bar and creative space. A happy place for locals, creatives and queers to meet that fosters creative musings and connection.

Whether youโ€™re a regular or a Tit newbie, here are some housekeeping notes as we move through the next 5 days of events:

๐Ÿงš๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ We are a small venue with limited capacity. This means our upcoming events will reach capacity early. The barโ€™s business hours are online so check for when we open. If you are the kind of party goer that doesnโ€™t leave the house until 8pm, be prepared to line up. ๐Ÿง๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿง๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ

๐Ÿงš๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ Please be polite to our hard working staff and treat them with respect. This includes our door person, bartenders and management. Our door person reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone that is rude, behaves inappropriately, or tries to push past them - even if you know the owner, you will be refused entry. We also will be unable to allow entry to anyone drinking alcohol on approach or in the line. ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†”๏ธ

Since so many of you are asking, weโ€™re posting this early!

After we close on 1st Nov, there will be a TIT MARKET DAY for everyone to buy a tangible piece of the Tit.

Tit Market Day will be on TUESDAY 4th NOVEMBER!

Doors open at 10am and bring cash!

Weโ€™ll be selling everything in the venue, think:
- decor ๐Ÿ“
- artworks ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ
- furniture, booths etc.๐Ÿช‘ ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ
- AV equipment: speakers, mixers etc. ๐ŸŽค
- plants ๐ŸŒฑ
- barware, glassware etc. ๐Ÿธ
- Any fit out items
- Huge safe ๐Ÿ’ฐ
- cash registers, iPads
- Fridges, freezers

Whatever you purchase will need to be taken on the day so bring power tools, a ute, trolleys, bubble wrap, boxes etc.

If more than one person wants the same item, the person with the highest price takes it home.

There are no set prices for any item. Only taking the highest offer on the day and we wonโ€™t take DM dibs or reserve items prior.

The Last Queerbourhood ๐Ÿ˜ข

Weโ€™re celebrating the end of an era, a legacy and a weekly event night that is so special to so many of us.

Weโ€™ve laughed, weโ€™ve danced, weโ€™ve cried, weโ€™ve marvelled, weโ€™ve learnt, and through all of this being held and guided by the formidable and loving jonny seymour.

Queerbourhood has been a weekly event, holding space for, and shining a light on emerging and established q***r performers from near and far ๐ŸŒ 

COMING OUT DJ has been a monthly mentoring session for new novice DJs. Giving the opportunity to be mentored by jonny himself live during Queerbourhood.

We end on a high! The final Queerbourhood presents a stacked line up of graduated COMING OUT DJ allumini and a surprise performance.
