Tough decisions are part of protecting our tribe.

After a lot of reflection, we’ve seen that cancelling gigs as an example didn’t lead to the change in behaviour we were hoping for. As a result, we’re stepping away from doing all-ages shows without a guardian present and choosing not to carry that risk going forward. Our focus is on creating spaces that reflect the standards, safety, and respect our community deserves.

Thank you for understanding, for growing with us, and for respecting the vibe we’re building together.

Tribe Social Belonging is bringing free live original music back to its Redcliffe clubhouse, with weekly Saturday night gigs returning after a short break. The community organisation says the move will strengthen connection, support local artists and create a welcoming space for all.

A huge thank you to Moreton Bay City Council for their incredible support in helping make the 2026 Where We Belong Festival such a success.

Moving to a completely new site brought plenty of challenges, and Council worked alongside us throughout the planning process to help bring the event to life. Their guidance, practical assistance, and financial support were instrumental in getting everything up and running.

Because of that partnership, people of all ages were able to come together for a fantastic day of live music, connection and community.

Thank you for backing community events that create opportunities for belonging. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to working together again in the future.
