The Port Pirie Darts Association is proud to congratulate our representative team on an outstanding performance at the South Australian Country Darts Championships held in the Riverland over the long weekend.
Our players showed determination, teamwork, and unwavering support for one another throughout every match. After a hard-fought campaign, Port Pirie finished Runners Up, remaining undefeated with 8 wins and 3 draws, unfortunately tying with Murray Bridge on points, however the final result came down to legs - where Murray Bridge edged ahead by 10 legs to take the chocolates, well done guys.
Huge thanks to Andy Pinder for leading the team, Colin George for the book work and bus driving, and a massive shout‑out to Brad Evans and Graeme Fridd for their support and nonstop chalking. A fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the effort put in by the entire team. Legends, all of you.
We also extend a special congratulations to Curtis Patterson, who was named in the Team of the Year after finishing with the second highest average overall. An incredible individual performance on top of a strong team result.
Well done to all players, officials and supporters who represented Port Pirie with pride.
