The Northern Festival Centre is a fully equipped multi-purpose arts centre and can accommodate a diverse range of conferences, performing arts, film screenings, seminars and product launches. Within the Centre are the Keith Michell Theatre, The Ballroom and meeting rooms (Barbara Welch Room and Council Room).

Applications are now open for the Guildhouse Catapult Mentorship!

The program provides a flexible and paid opportunity for artists at all stages of their career to purposefully engage in mentorship with their chosen mentor, with Guildhouse providing support and facilitation.

Two opportunities are available as part of this call out. One mentorship is identified for a South Australian regional artist, supported by Country Arts SA. Each mentorship is valued at $7,000 with funds administered by Guildhouse.

Since 2018, Guildhouse’s flagship Catapult mentorship program has provided over 70 South Australian visual artists, craft practitioners and designers with the critical funding and support to engage in a self-led mentorship with an established local, national or international mentor.

Catapult is generously funded through the Guildhouse Creative Champions donor program and the Country Arts Foundation. This round has also been supported by individual donations from Guildhouse’s Catapult Creativity fundraising campaign, as part of Creative Australia’s 2025 AusArt Day - the first national giving day to the arts.
