Public holiday this Monday 28 September: restaurant lunch 12pm to 2.30pm, and takeaway pizzas for dinner.

Cafe, every day, 8.30am to 2.30pm.

Restaurant, Thursday to Sunday, lunch and dinner, 12pm to 8pm.

Kitchen serves 12pm to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm.

💛 Still one of our favourite reviews to date. Thank you Ian, visiting from interstate and calling our dinner the best you'd had in a long time is about as good as it gets. The beef brisket pasta and homemade lasagne will be blushing. 🍝

"Old world charm with a modern refresh" is exactly what we set out to do with Karribank, so hearing it put that way means everything to our small team in the mountains.

Before online bookings, digital confirmations and e-tickets, a stay at Karribank looked a little different. ✉️

Guests corresponded by post, with letters used to arrange their visits and stamps also playing a part in the tickets and travel of the time. What now takes a few clicks once involved handwritten correspondence, physical tickets and a little more patience.

These pieces from the Karribank archives offer a glimpse into how people once planned their journey to the Porongurup - and how Karribank’s tradition of welcoming guests stretches back through generations.

The way we book and travel may have changed, but the reason people come to Karribank hasn’t: to slow down, enjoy the country and stay a while. 🌿
