Senior Chef-
About the Role
As a Senior Chef, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining high food and safety standards, assisting with menu development and working alongside the kitchen and venue management teams.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ā ā Supporting and mentoring the kitchen team
ā¢ā ā Assisting with daily kitchen operations and service
ā¢ā ā Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
ā¢ā ā Assisting with menu development and seasonal menu changes
ā¢ā ā Food preparation and service across busy periods
ā¢ā ā Supporting food costing, ordering and stock control
ā¢ā ā Minimising food wastage
ā¢ā ā Ensuring food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are maintained
ā¢ā ā Supporting functions, events and busy service periods
ā¢ā ā Helping maintain a positive, respectful and professional kitchen culture
ā¢ā ā Working collaboratively with the wider venue team
About You
We are looking for someone who:
ā¢ā ā Has strong experience in a senior chef or similar position
ā¢ā ā Is confident working in a busy pub, hotel or hospitality environment
ā¢ā ā Has excellent communication and organisational skills
