Barney's Bar & Bistro is in the picturesque village of Pomonal, a short 10 minute drive from the popular holiday destination of Halls Gap. Barney's is also easily accessible from nearby towns such as Ararat and from the Western Highway at Stawell. Soak up the rustic charm of Barney's renovated shearing shed/barn, nestled at the foot of the Grampians National Park. Enjoy views of the dramatic colour-changing backdrop of the park and watch wildlife wander by. We have four separate spaces inside and plenty of outside dining under our verandahs or sail too. Friday - Sunday from 11am until late, for lunch, dinner & drinks. Kitchen times are usually: 11am - 2pm and 5 - 8pm. Barney's actual closing time varies and depends on customers, so call us if you would like to come for a drink after 9pm and we can give you an estimate of our closing time. Special occasions can sometimes be booked for outside of these times, so it is worth asking and therefore these days/hours may be extended.
