Tavern on Turton is situated directly above the jetty precinct, taking in some of the most stunning views Southern Yorke Peninsula has to offer - the waters of Hardwicke Bay and the long stretches of white sand along Flaherty’s Beach. The menu is extensive, offering a range of meals from pasta, salads, steak, lamb and poultry and specialises in South Australian seafood. We are proud to offer a lar

ge range of red and white wine from South Australia. Our aim is to bring back the feeling of unhurried dining and encourage people to take time to enjoy food and each other’s company and of course; the stunning views. There’s no need to hurry, children are more than welcome at the tavern, having incorporated a children’s playroom. The outdoor area, including the veranda and lawn area are fully licensed. To save being disappointed it is best to make a booking for meals.

Thank you to our wonderful staff past and present for supporting Greg and I over the past years. We couldn't have done it without you.

To Happy and Sandy (our chef's) you guys are truly amazing. You have worked like this business is your own. You have been so accommodating, respectful and we hope you have great success in your life. Fred, our all rounder, it's been a pleasure working with you, we have seen you come from a 15 year old young man to a confident adult, we couldn't do it without you.

Mardi, you are our right hand and one of the hardest workers we have come across. Your loyalty to us has made life so much easier. We respect you so much and wish you great success in the future.

Dear Customers,

The Tavern will be closed Monday 20th June to prepare for new ownership.
We are sorry if we have caused you any inconvenience today but hope you will make it back to support the new owners-Lucy, Charlie and Macca from Wednesday the 23rd of June.

We thank you for your endless support over the past 14 ½ years. It has been a pleasure to provide a service for you. We leave here with wonderful memories and friendships.
