These two are basically musical chameleons 🦎🎸 — jumping effortlessly between bluegrass, folk, blues, world music and everything in between. Multi-instrumental, and the kind of musicians that make you stop mid-conversation just to listen.

Tim is a true North Queensland music legend, with more than 30 years on the road, international experience and a few pretty serious blues accolades under his belt. Basically… he knows how to make a Sunday afternoon sound GOOD! 🤙

This Saturday from 4pm, Ro is taking us from Maggie to Galicia for an afternoon of Camiño games, music, good beer and stories from one of the world’s oldest & most famous walking routes.

What a bloody week! Huge congratulations to everyone who got out on the water, battled the breeze and enjoyed every race. ⛵️💨

And a special shoutout to our very own crew — 3rd overall! 🥉

From all of us at Maggie Island Brewery, a massive THANK YOU to every sailor, crew member, supporter and visitor who came through our doors during Race Week.
And especially to everyone who tried a local beer brewed right here on Magnetic Island. 🍺🤍 It was bloody awesome seeing sailors from near and far enjoying a schooner, swapping stories and making the most of Race Week — both on and off the water.

We honestly can’t believe how quickly this week has flown by… although at 20 knots, we probably should have seen it coming! 😂💨⛵️

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came through and supported our little local brewery while visiting Maggie Island. 🤍

Last night was a cracker with the Mika, Bundaberg & Charm Offensive crews joining us for some sailor games — plenty of laughs and friendly competition! 🍻

Now onto this afternoon’s prize giving! 🏆 We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone and hopefully see you all back here next year!

This Sunday, we’re celebrating Island Breeze Festival and Magnetic Island Race Week with two very special brews pouring at Maggie Island Brewery! ⛵️

🍒 Baltic Cherry Porter — 7.2%
Rich, smooth and seriously delicious, with dark roasted malt character and a juicy cherry twist. A big, warming porter made for a well-earned lay day.

🌕 Golden Eclipse American Pale Ale — 5.5%
Golden, bright and hop-forward, with pine notes, a refreshing bitterness and plenty of flavour without being too heavy.

And there’s plenty happening around Picnic Bay for the Island Breeze Festival, with markets, local makers, music and island vibes all day long! 🌺
