Just to let you know a little more about ourselves.
Ren and I (Sally), are going to be running/hosting wine dinner/events, hopefully one every 2-3 months. Our first one will be with this amazing winemaker Paul Nelson from down in Denmark. We'll be doing a really casual food and his wine dinner at uncle joes, King st, on Thursday August 6th - think long table, shared food, Italian style (slow cooked meats, cured meats, cheese) while drinking and learning a little about these amazing wines. On the Sunday August 9th, we'll be doing a 6 course lunch with matching wines at camelot theatre in Mosman park. This amazing huge Art Deco theatre. We'll be matching Paul's wines to each course and explaining a little about the matches and the wines each time. Our version of meet the winemaker and get to know his wines. There will also be an opportunity to buy the wines.
After this event we'll have some chef vs chef dinners, food and booze matched to a movie, seasonal degustations ..... That kind of thing. Trying to bring a little fun back into food and wine.
