Cannes Best Director winner Paweł Pawlikowski (Ida; Cold War) returns with this sensational snapshot of writer Thomas Mann (Hanns Zischler) and his daughter Erika (Sandra Hüller) as they embark on a trip across a post-war Germany in ruins. With FATHERLAND, Pawlikowski picks up where he left off with his award-winning Ida and Cold War, exploring – in his elliptic, distilled style - the themes of identity, family, love and guilt amid the turmoil and confusion of post-war Europe.

We like to share with you information about a concert for Cello and Piano of a visiting Duo from Karlsruhe, Germany.

We would be delighted to meet members of the German-speaking community in Perth in person and share an evening of classical music with you.
We are:
Reinhard Armleder, cello and Dagmar Hartmann, piano

As part of our concert tour to the Pacific region and Australia, we will first spend a week in Apia, Samoa, where, in collaboration with local cultural organisations and the German Embassy in Suva, Fiji, we will present concerts, workshops and other cultural activities. We will then travel to Brisbane to perform at the Brisbane Music Festival before continuing to Perth.

We would be delighted if you and your members could join us for our concert:
